Your, Such A Time As This

November 23, 2017

During worship Jesus gave me a memory smell, of my time working at Giant Food Store in E-town PA, when I was 16-18 years old. The smell took me back to the salad bar work. Then He began to walk me through my time working there, reminding me of things and feelings I had not thought of in years. Things that caused pain and things that did not make sense.
He reminded me of a bird that got stuck in the glass entryway, at work, and how it kept flying into the glass trying to escape, and how its beak was bloody and it hurt my heart. He told me today, "Jamie, I remember that bird." I felt He wanted me to know He sees every little thing.
He told me that because I was working there in that season, and in their lives at that time, some of them are still alive.
He reminded me of all the times I felt inadequate for what I was hired for, at my jobs. And how others even told me I needed to change how I did things.
   Then He told me,
"You were not good at what they hired you for, but you were GREAT at what I called you there for, and you made a difference in their lives. I have called you to change lives as you walk with Me! Jamie, I have had you on the mission field all your life! Your love, My love flowing through you into each person who has stood in-front of you, has meant the world to Me. Every broken person you checked out at the store and each persons table you served at, I loved them through you. Every person you spoke to on the phone was the mission I called you to. Thank you, Jamie!"

My Reader, Don't take it for granted that God has placed you where you are, for such a time as this!

New Adventure

Hello Friends,             I am SO excited to share with you all that I will be leaving for Mozambique, Africa, with my brother. I will be back home by the end of the year. We are going for mission training and to encounter God in a deeper way! Prayers are always very much excepted!      We are going to be going on mini outreaches to the bush where there is no running water and no out houses. I am excited! We are each required to take a personal single person tent and sleeping bag for these mini out reaches! I don't know all the details but I know it will be a GREAT time of learning and we are excited to be learning from those who Live this life style.       Our regular living conditions will be rooming with 8-12 other students(of the same gender) we will not always have running water(due to being in a 3th world country) so we need to be sure to have an emergency money supply for bottled water(otherwise we can...

Fathers Day

Fathers Day Thank you Dad for serving God by serving our family!!!!      How blessed I have been to have you as my Dad! I really don’t know who I would be if God did not give me to you. I remember once I had a dream I found out I was adopted, I was so mad and when I awoke I was still angry. For I wanted no other Father or Mother.     You had asked God how you could instill a love for Him in your children. And God told you to just love Him. You never followed someone else’s plan or program, only God. And now 33 years later that love you desired your children to have with your Heavenly Father, they have and desire even more!    Thank you for not chasing wealth or the things of this world! Thank YOU SO MUCH for chasing God! Thank you for your time…looking back I ask myself how did you have the time to accomplish all that you did? You raised seven children, provided for, loved, served, sacrificed yourself for your wife and Child...
