November 23, 2017 During worship Jesus gave me a memory smell, of my time working at Giant Food Store in E-town PA, when I was 16-18 years old. The smell took me back to the salad bar work. Then He began to walk me through my time working there, reminding me of things and feelings I had not thought of in years. Things that caused pain and things that did not make sense. He reminded me of a bird that got stuck in the glass entryway, at work, and how it kept flying into the glass trying to escape, and how its beak was bloody and it hurt my heart. He told me today, "Jamie, I remember that bird." I felt He wanted me to know He sees every little thing. He told me that because I was working there in that season, and in their lives at that time, some of them are still alive. He reminded me of all the times I felt inadequate for what I was hired for, at my jobs. And how others even told me I needed to change how I did things. ...
Every moment of your life is an opportunity to choose to yield to the One Who holds the universe in His hand. The CRAZY thing is there is NOTHING so vile or insignificant enough to keep Him from desiring you!!!!!! We are already "so small and vile" that He shouldn't want us....BUT Love. God is LOVE! He is Holy! He is GOOD! He is GOD! No one is His equal! Our Milky Way galaxy is not even a spec in His hand. We have already been marked by His great love! He made us little humans in His Own image.... This Creator Who holds the galaxies in His hand, stepped into this tiny universe and was born as a baby on this tiny planet for the purpose of setting YOUR worth.
